[shhht_14] Eholow
Krasnoyarsk, Russia. That's where this music comes from. It feels like the other side of the planet. It's close to Mongolia and Kazakhstan and no where near Moscow. Over there, three guys came together and created Eholow. Their sound (something in between intelligent dance music and post-rock) got picked up by Nu_Aura Netlabel. An interesting new label which combines music and illustrations for every track. Sure enough, this did get our attention and brought us to the two tracks presented to you today: niti and nutazii. They speak to me on an experimental unconventional level, but hey, don't take my word for it... check it out!

[shhht_13] Lunova Labs
Let's call this future garage? There's a piano, syncopated rhythms, beat-skipping kick drums and spaced out vocal samples. Lunova Labs (USA) made this release purposefully for the Silenced netlabel. It was inspired by a philosophical movement, called transcendentalism, which developed in the 19th century. Among the transcendentalists' core beliefs was the inherent goodness of both man and nature. Transcendentalists believed that society and its institutions - particularly organized religion and political parties - ultimately corrupted the purity of the individual. They had faith that man is at his best when truly "self-reliant" and independent. Each song is titled off of a piece of work written by some of the leading figures of the movement. The album breaths spirituality and mystery. I dare you to hit the repeat button. You'll find yourself back on the moon.

[shhht_12] Great Skies
This London based producer made me high on melodies. Matthew Wells aka "Great Skies" is only 20 years old and already reinvented the wheel. We've all been there, lost in a landscape of down-tempo beverages. This time however, the ghosts follow us, while we drift through a repetitive environment fueled by spicy beats. It's as easy and catchy as it is complex and subtle. I'd like it to be played in clubs, on the road and in my living room. Keep an eye on the horizon as we watch out for Great Skies.

[shhht_11] Alectroid
A jawdropping three-tracker from this Belgian artist. You'll be chilling out, while subtle synths and sneaky basslines close in on you. Once intoxicated, there is no way back. It's life on a road of mellow melodies and crispy claps. Walk with us.

[shhht_10] Label Remix
We celebrate our tenth release by sharing the best submissions of our recent remix contest . Six versatile tracks bridging musical territories ranging from stripped minimalistic reinterpretations towards more upfront roughness. Big up for Stoika, Donk Boys, Dadive, Dektro, Alectroid and Chateaubriand, now all immortalized in the Silenced netcatalog.

[shhht_09] Stoika
Leuven-locals Stoika contribute to our Silenced net-catalogue with four rather short takes of pure love bubbles, indulging us with reminiscence of the Berlin electro wave from a couple of years ago with breakthrough music from the bPitch-label. But it's clearly not yesterday's dish served today as guttering basslines, lush synths and dub-influenced textures work their way through the tracks, keeping things crispy and fresh. Stoika is a keeper, and we're glad to have them around.

[shhht_08] Astor Remix
Our eighth output features remixes made for the Stockholm-based Astor Bell netlabel. Three completely different sounding tracks but they all reach common ground in the land of warm melodies. Varying from slow paced, grinding minimalism from Dan Droff, a time-liquifying approach from Examine to the more dancefloor oriented Damohl33 remix. Grab your free intangible goods right here, in return for just a click they're all yours once again.

[shhht_07] Eavesdrop
The Brussels sprouts Eavesdrop caught some nice attention on the web with their shhht03, so they're back with more slices of their tribal infused tech-house. Two sweaty groovers for the spring! Everything free to grab, April fools not this time.

[shhht_06] Examine
The Croatia based producer Examine and the Silenced collective have crossed paths more than once. This time he contributed three well-elaborated tracks to cover the holy number six. Examine’s meticulous way of producing makes this EP nice home listening material, but this would definitely work in a more dancefloor oriented environment as well. Sit back while dubby chords and twitching microtextures fill your room and make you say ‘thanks Silenced’ once again.

[shhht_05] Damolh33
Damohl33 turned out to be one of the finest producers passing us a demo last year. With around ten netreleases under his belt he surely is no stranger to the netaudio cirquit, though. Shhht05 contains two tracks of heart-warming techno, precisely fulfilling your aural needs in these cold days. A word of warning though; Silenced is not responsible for you tapping that replay-button over and over, as both pieces will far exceed your average track life cycle.

[shhht_04] The Menu
Silenced' fourth netrelease contains a free re-issue of The Menu's "Tatooine EP", a successful release by the foregone Bokal label. With the ability to turn any party into a massive Star Wars dance-off, Silenced just had to ask permission to carry out this one for the free masses. It's lightsaber time!

[shhht_03] Eavesdrop
The Brussels-based producer duo Eavesdrop popped up as one of Silenced' favourite entries of their past demo-contest. No wonder we decided on offering them a release on our newfound netlabel. Eavesdrop passed through three slices of bumpy Balearic tech-house, driven with subtle percussion and occasionally broken up with a melodic twist. A strong three-tracker based upon repetitiveness as well as organic sounds, letting the summer last just a little bit longer.

[shhht_02] Andre Lanine
Silenced' second release granted to fellow Belgian Andre Lanine covers a wide musical spectrum with 'Hades' and 'Harp', delivering driving clicks & cuts, sounding dark and fresh without corrupting total balance. As an additional slice of musical goodness, Andre's track 'Harp' gets a thorough treatment by Silenced socio Crisp. He brewed us a liquid house interpretation colored with some epic tension builders along the way. Giggity giggity!

[shhht_01] Hermético
We are all applauding Silenced first official netrelease! After months of hard work the netlabel has finally kicked off with a first product! After some remarkable releases on the acclaimed Spanish Inoquo netlabel, Hermetico provides us with a diverse four-tracker of contemporary minimal techno, often skilfully layered with his trademark perpetual melodies. side the original mixes we encounter two additional reshuffles as well, provided by Dan Droff and Andre Lanine, making this release a copious chunk of quality techno, strongly advised for all your peak-time endeavors.
